Meet Nancy Logue, PhD, Licensed Psychologist

Early in my career I worked at The Renfrew Center with the full spectrum of eating problems from anorexia and bulimia to overeating and other food/weight/body image issues. In my 17 years on the staff, I served as an individual, family and group therapist in residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment. There I learned the importance of addressing both mind and body in the recovery process and witnessed the healing power of relationships.

For over 30 years I have been an outpatient therapist helping men, women, couples, teens and families to take better care of themselves and each other. Recognizing the central influence of relationship issues as a source of distress as well as a key resource when functioning well, I have specialized in couple and family therapy using the evidence-based Emotionally Focused Therapy model since 2008..

I was a founding member and served for 10 years on the board of the Philadelphia Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, which trains mental health professionals in attachment based psychotherapy.  I am a co-creator of Philadelphia Couples Workshops offering classes and workshops to the community.
